1. William¹ Burrows was born Manton, Rutland c1806. William died March 1893 Oakham, at 86 years of age.

He married Alice Ann Stanger Wakerley, 4th December 1832. Alice was born 1815. Alice was the daughter of John Stanger and Lucy Newbold. Alice died Sept 1893 Oakham, at 78 years of age.

William Burrows and Alice Ann Stanger had the following children:

3 ii. Mahala Burrows was born Manton, Rutland c1837.

4 iii. Lucy Elizabeth Burrows was born c1839.

5 iv. Hepzibah? Burrows was born Manton, Rutland Sept 1841.

6 v. Alice Burrows was born Manton, Rutland c 1844. Alice died Sept 1871 Oakham, at 27 years of age.

7 vi. William C Burrows was born Manton, Rutland c1849.

8 vii. John J Burrows was born Manton, Rutland c1850.

9 viii. Charles Burrows was born Manton, Rutland c1855.

10 ix. John Burrows was born Manton, rutland c1858.
